30th October, ’14. Professor Haseena Khan (in the photograph second from left in the middle row), Chairman, Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, Dhaka University, attended the recently concluded FAOBMB (The Federation of Asian and Oceanian Biochemistry and Molecular Biology) Council meeting as a delegate of the Bangladesh Society of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. The meeting was held in Taipei, Taiwan on October 20, 2014. The meeting of the Council took place before a very successful IUBMB-FAOBMB Conference in which there were many memorable talks on front-line topics in biochemistry and molecular biology by Nobel Laureates and many widely renowned researchers. What was most appreciated is the wonderful ambience set in place by the very kind hospitality of the conference hosts in Taipei.
