While surfing through the Internet, we came across the title of an excellent Plant Physiology Textbook entitled, “A Companion to Plant Physiology,” Fifth Edition (http://5e.plantphys.net/)” by Lincoln Taiz and Eduardo Zeiger. In view of the extremely high cost of good textbooks, this free online textbook will prove invaluable to the graduate students in plant sciences in general and plant physiology in particular. Both general and research  students in Bangladesh and elsewhere will benefit immensely using this book. It has also an excellent online database and a powerful search engine. Any information say on salicylic acid or jasmonic acid is only a click way from the investigator. Molecular Biologists stand to gain a good deal from this book as many of the topics that feature here are common to both disciplines. It is a pleasure to recommend this free online book to GNOBB members and their well-wishers.
