GNOBB member and ex GEB, DU student Ms. Sumayia Farah Khan, Assistant Professor at the Department of Microbiology & Biotechnology, Jagannath University, Dr. Munwara Sultana at the Dept. of Microbiology, DU and Ms. Syeda Sharmin Sultana at the Dept. of Botany, DU are three delegates selected from Bangladesh shortly to attend the JSPS-sponsored HOPE Meeting in Japan to be held at the Grand Prince Hotel New Takanawa, Tokyo, February 24- March 2, 2013
HOPE Meetings give opportunities for excellent doctoral students and young researchers selected from countries/areas in the Asia-Pacific region to engage in interdisciplinary discussions with Nobel laureates and other distinguished scientists. Their programs include dialogue with distinguished scientists pioneering the frontiers of knowledge; exchanges among the participants themselves, who live under the same roof for one week; and cultural lectures and activities.
GNOBB wish them best wishes for a successful a week-long meeting in Tokyo with the distinguished scientists. Hope the enlightened environment to which they wiill be exposed will help them to better organize their research projects thereby promoting their future career.
