GNOBB is pleased to announce that the GNOBB-funded research project has been published in a peer-reviewed journal (Journal of Agricultural Sciences - Sri Lanka, 19(3), p. 475-481) https://doi.org/10.4038/jas.v19i3.10109
Mr. Tangimul Islam and Syed Sazidul Islam of the SoilTech team (Khulna University) have won the research/start-up idea competition for Plant and Agriculture section in 2021 for their project titled, ‘Twice harvesting of Boro rice in the southwest coastal region’.
GNOBB congratulates the research team for the successful publication of their research article. This is a significant achievement, highlighting an important contribution to agricultural practices in saline environments. By offering a new strategy for enhancing rice production, the ratooning of Boro rice in challenging conditions can provide significant economic value. GNOBB hopes that this study will have a positive impact on future agricultural developments in Bangladesh and beyond.
Due to the success of the initial grant, GNOBB has decided to provide additional support to the project as an extension. GNOBB wishes the continued success of the research project!
