The GSA Bioinformatics Internship is a collaborative initiative jointly organized by the Global Network of Bangladeshi Biotechnologists (GNOBB), AS Islam School of Life, and the Society for the Popularization of Science, Bangladesh (SPSB). This initiative is dedicated to nurturing the next generation of bioinformatics researchers through accessible, high-quality, and impact-driven training.
Our mission is to bridge the gap between theoretical education and real-world research in the life sciences by integrating bioinformatics, data science, and molecular biology. The interOur mission is to bridge the gap between theoretical education and real-world research in life sciences by integrating bioinformatics, data science, and molecular biology. We bring together academic researchers, educators, and practitioners from leading institutions to design a learning environment that emphasizes hands-on experience, mentorship, and scientific integrity.
This year, five students completed their training under the mentorship of researchers from various institutions, including DeepBio Limited and the Big Bioinformatics Lab (CHIRAL Bangladesh). This event has been organized to share the program’s outcomes with students, researchers, and faculty members, including members of GNOBB. We invite you to join this academic exchange and engage with emerging research in bioinformatics.
