GNOBB is pleased to announce the winners of the ASI endowment research grant for 2025.

Winners and Project Details

Tonoy Paul of Sylhet Agricultural University won the grant in the Plant and Agriculture category with the project titled: "Unravelling Molecular Mechanisms of Combined Biochar and Wood Vinegar (WV) Application in Chilli (Capsicum annuum) for Fruit Quality and Yield Enhancement in Acidic Soil"

The winner for the Health and Medicine category is Md. Forhad Alam of Islamic University, Kushtia. His research proposal is "Laser-Induced Lipid Peroxidation Disrupts Phospholipid Bilayer Membrane: A Potential Therapeutic Approach to Combat Bacterial Infections"

Grant Information and Acknowledgement

Both winners will receive 1 lakh BDT as grant money to conduct their research. The recipients will properly acknowledge GNOBB's contribution in all publications and conference presentations.
