GNOBB members will be pleased to know that the Annual Botanical Conference & AGM 2013 will be held on the 31 May, 2014 in the Assembly Hall of  Thengamara Mohila Sabuj Sangha(Bengali: ঠেঙ্গামারা মহিলা সবুজ সংঘ) (TMSS), Bogra founded byProf. Dr. Hosne-Ara Begum – an eminent botanist and a well-known social worker of the area.

The two keynote speakers at the conference are: Professor Abdul Aziz, D.U and Prof. Rakha Hari Sarker, DU. They will speak on Environment: Water Issues and Opportunities and Challenges of Agricultural Biotechnology in Bangladesh. respectively. The number of participants at the Conference from all over Bangladesh is about 150.
