When given proper environment and  adequate opportunity, a young scientist may rise to an exceptionally high level.  Dr. Khadem is a  glaring example. He became a GNOBB member since the early days of its creation. Next four years saw him as a Ph.D. student under the joint

supervision of  Professor Dr.  Nuria Lopez-Bigas,  Head of the Biomedical  Genomics Group at ICREA Res. Professor at the University of Pompeu Fabra in UPF, Barcelona and Dr. Elizaveta Benevolenskaya  at the University of Illinois at Chicago  USA.

Within this short span of time along with his associates he has published a number of papers in well-known Journals, namely, in Nature Methods, BMC Genomics, Oncogene, Genes and Development, PLoS One, Cell Cycle, JoVE.
