Dr. Brahmachari started his speech by saying that here he didn’t represent the Government of India but was present as a fellow scientist to share his ideas with his counterparts in Bangladesh. He referred CSIR as one of the largest research organizations in India and explained how the scientists of CSIR work hard to send the fruits of their research at the doorstep of the public. As the people of India and Bangladesh have many similar problems, the innovative and pragmatic steps of CSIR as outlined by the Professor touched the hearts of the audience.
