The International Conference organized by the Islamic Academy of Sciences is due from May 5 through May 8 under the patronage of Her Excellency Sheikh Haseena.

As published in  the GNOBB website  earlier, the International Conference will be inaugurated by Her Excellency Sheikh Haseena, the PM of the Democratic Republic of Bangladesh. It will be a 4-day conference from May 5 through May 8 in three venues, the principal one being Pan Pacific Sonargaon Hotel. Ibrahim Memorial Lecture by  Prof. Liaquat Ali, Vice-Chancellor (Acting), BUHS will be held at the Bangladesh Institute of Health Sciences, Dhaka.

GNOBB feels very happy that three of its members, namely, Professor Ahmed Azad, Prof. Haseena Khan, Prof. Zeba I. Seraj will be among the distinguished speakers. For the benefit of members, the program has been summarized with particulars. The Conference will be addressed by two distinguished Bangladeshi expatriates from the USA: Professor Saifur Rahman, Director Virginia Polytech Advanced Research Institute and Prof. Anwar Huq, Maryland Pathogen Research Institute at  the University of Maryland
