The present difficulty is that physicians prescribe a variety of drugs for the treatment of one particular type of cancer. What is the need of the day is to select one specific drug for the treatment of a particular type of cancer. Mustak thinks that the intensive research going on all over the globe in an wide area of cancer will soon come up with a satisfactory solution of the problem. About  the quality of research on cancer that is being carried out in Bangladesh, he said it is comparable although there is a long way for Bangladeshi researchers to catch up  with the West. He emphasized on the need of supplying adequate facilities to the local scientists for both fresh graduates and for the scientists who would return to BD  after gaining research experience abroad in the treatment of cancer.
